  A professor of Al-azhar University warned against spread of Wahhabism in the Islamic countries and counted the pseudo-faith a real threat for the Islamic nation.

Al-azhar figure warns against spread of Wahhabism
BFnews: Ahmad al-Saeh, Professor of philosophy in Al-azhar University said: Wahhabism and its efforts to destabilize Muslim nation is a real threat for the Islamic countries.

Ahmad al-Saeh said: They are following the way of their ancestors by demolishing holy shrines of Ahlul Bayt (As). Saudi Arabia is a main supporter of radical and excommunicating moves demanding Egyptians to stand unified against Wahhabis.

The Egyptian figure noted: According to history, Egyptians have been Shia and this background makes them especially interested in Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Al-azhar is taking measures to confront Wahhabism.

Ahmad al-Saeh also said recently some demonstrations have been held in Egypt with the demonstrators carrying Saudi Arabia flag.

Condemning the move, cultural figure of Al-azhar University said that such moves show the interference of Saudi Arabia in the domestic affairs of Egypt and their support of radical excommunicators.
