Basis of Media Activities in the Field of Mahdism Should Be Quranic Verses and Hadiths

BFnews: Batul Marzuq Rija Al-Hashimi, who attended the 7th International Conference of Mahdism, also said that the media need practical policies and strategies for promoting the culture of Intizar.

“If we properly clarify the verses and Hadiths regarding Mahdism, we can combat deviated thoughts and the anti-Islamic propaganda of the enemies,” she underlined.

Referring to verse 125 of Surah Nahl “Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching;...”, she said, “This verse calls for promoting Islam’s Divine values and one of these values is Intizar.

Ms Al-Hashimi regarded it as importance to familiarize the youth with the culture of Mahdism and said, “The youth, today, need new and dynamic thoughts based on their interests and their mind-set. They usually refer to new media like the Internet to find these thoughts. So, in order to familiarize them with the culture of Intizar, the new media should be used.”

Asked about the Mahdism conference, she regarded the event as a spiritual move aimed at developing the culture of Mahdism. She expressed hope for attending the future editions of the conference.

At the 7th International Conference of Mahdism , which was held in Tehran on July 14-15, Batul Marzuq Rija Al-Hashimi presented a paper titled “The Media and Paving the Ground for Reappearance”.
