Bfnews: A senior Iranian military commander advised Tel Aviv to heed the warnings issued by the US officials about the consequences of a military attack on Iran and give up their threats against the Islamic Republic, pledging that Tehran would reciprocate any enemy invasion with a crushing response.
"The Zionist regime had better listen to their boss and give up their illusive whispers. Otherwise, if they do any damn thing, the Iranian Armed Forces will bulldoze the entire occupied lands and ruin the nest of the criminal Zionists," Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi cautioned on Saturday.
"Only the Zionist occupiers of the Holy Quds are whispering war rhetoric in desperation," the commander stated.
He said that policymakers of the Iranian defense forces are monitoring the conspiracies being hatched by the warmongers and their rhetorical statements.
The commander further played down the threat of war, saying that Iran's deterrent power has pushed back the threat.
Iran has repeatedly warned that its Armed Forces are fully prepared to immediately deliver a crushing response to any offensive on the Iranian territory.
Earlier, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei stressed Tehran's military preparedness to give a crushing response to any possible aggression against the country.
"We do not possess a nuclear weapon and we will not build one, but we will defend ourselves against any aggression, whether by the US or the Zionist regime, with the same level (of force)," Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing thousands of Iranian people in the holy city of Mashhad, the provincial capital city of Iran's Northeastern province of Khorassan Razavi, on March 20.
The Leader said Washington and its allies are well aware that Iran is neither in possession nor in pursuit of nuclear weapons and the real reason behind their enmity against Iran is their thirst for the nation's oil.
Iran has warned that it would target Israel and its worldwide interests in case it comes under attack by the Tel Aviv.
