  The 7th edition of the International Conference on Mahdism Doctrine came to an end in a ceremony Friday night, July 15.

7th Mahdism Doctrine Conference Concludes
BFnews: Held at the IRIB International Conference Center, the ceremony was attended by a number of high-ranking officials as well as the thinkers and scholars participating in the conference.

Recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, Tawasheeh performance by Fardaye Roshan (bright tomorrow) group, and speeches by different personalities were among the main programs of the function.

In a speech, Hojatoleslam Mohammad Zamani, international affairs deputy of the Islamic Seminaries Administration, said that at the conference, representatives of different faiths presented their ideas about the savior and a time in the future when justice will rule the world.

Presidents of the four commissions of the conference also presented reports on the discussions which were made and papers which were presented at each commission.

Next, the final statement of the conference was read out by Hojatoleslam Seyyed Mahmud Pour Sayyed Aaghayi.

The statement enumerated 12 significant requirements in the promotion of Mahdism.

Other speakers at the closing ceremony included Major General Firuzabadi, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, and member of the parliament Hojatoleslam Abutorabifard.

The 7th International Conference on Mahdism Doctrine was held on July 14-15 in Tehran. 55 papers by Iranian scholars as well as 48 papers by scholars and thinker from different countries including India, Egypt, the UK, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Philippines and Japan were presented at the two-day event.
