BFnews: Delivering the sermons of congregational Friday Prayer on February 18, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati added that some 1470 verses of the Holy Book refer to the Great Prophet (PBUH).

Congratulating the Islamic Ummah on the auspicious occasion of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Sadegh (AS) birth anniversaries, he also said that the Glorious Quran contains 2800 themes in regard to the great Prophet’s (PBUH) Seerah and virtues.

He noted: The main means for self-promotion in spiritual affairs is following the moral virtues introduced and practiced by the great Prophet (PBUH).

The chairman of the Guardian Council reiterated that the mission of the great Prophet (PBUH) was to develop Islam all around the globe for it is a comprehensive religion.

Referring to the time when the holy Prophet (PBUH) was born, the senior Iranian cleric noted: By emergence of Prophet Muhammd (PBUH) in the era of negligence, light replaced darkness.
